I was an 11 year old kid from Norway visiting Disneyland in 1992, completely obsessed with The Little Mermaid. I saw this album in one of the merch stores there and you'd better best believe I bought it haha! I bought it on cassette (which at the time was the dominating format and the CD was still a very new thing) and this is one of the songs I remember getting stuck in my head back then. I sadly lost the cassette in a tragic housefire in 1996 so I'm happy to see the songs from the album uploaded here! :)

Ariel is one of my favorite Disney princesses no matter how unpredictable they say say she is I think she is smarter than she knows and I'm glad that I grew up with her movie The Little Mermaid except I was born in 1987 while The Little Mermaid was released in 1989 but sometimes I really do feel just like Ariel and I really don't blame her she has six older sisters and being the seventh daughter of Triton I say she's very lucky because she is the seventh daughter of Triton and they say seven is a lucky number but I understand that Ariel wanted to do something different and discover something new kind of like Jack Skellington except he is a skeleton and a pumpkin king and Ariel is a mermaid princess of Atlantica and I still don't blame her when some of her sisters or friends don't understand her especially not her father but I believe in Ariel she has a special gift of determination and Hope and love and song!
